Privacy Policy

RehabRange ("we") is a renovation cost estimator and deal analyzer for real estate investors, operated from Connecticut, USA. This policy explains what we collect when you use rehabrange.com, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we don't sell your data, and you can ask us to delete your account and everything in it at any time.

What we collect

• Account information — your email address, password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider; we never see it), and optionally your name.
• Property and analysis data you enter — addresses, room conditions, line items, purchase prices, notes, receipts, and the estimates and analyses the app builds from them. This is your working data; it exists so the product can sync it across your devices.
• Billing status — your subscription plan and status. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card number never touches our servers.
• Usage analytics— product events (pages viewed, features used) via PostHog, used to understand what's working and fix what isn't.

How we use it

To run the product: store and sync your properties and estimates, pull comparable sales for addresses you analyze, generate AI explanations of valuations, process subscriptions, send transactional email (account, billing, support), and improve the product from aggregate usage. We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we don't use your property data for advertising.

Services we rely on

Your data is processed by the vendors that run parts of the product: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), PostHog (analytics), Rentcast (comparable-sales data for addresses you analyze), and Anthropic (AI analysis of the property data you submit for explanation). Each receives only what its function requires.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in (authentication session) and for analytics. We don't run third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays in your account until you delete it or ask us to. If you cancel a paid plan, your properties remain saved and viewable on the free plan — nothing is deleted on downgrade. To export your data or permanently delete your account, email support@rehabrange.com and we'll complete it within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere) and at rest by our database provider. Access to production data is limited to the operator. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we'll notify you promptly.

Children

RehabRange is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
